luscious lips!

When applying lipstick, you never go wrong with a lip liner! This will stop the lipstick from bleeding out onto the skin and will help define your lips..starting from the centre at your bow working your way to the outside corners...always best to try and match your liner to your lipstick..and help blend it together with a lip brush!

eye makeup on the smokey side..

When applying eye makeup an eye primer is alsways a good base to prevent creasing and to keep the shadow on longer...to brighten eyes use a white eyeliner on the bottom inner water line,this will brighten eyes instantly! For a nice sophisticated eye makeup use a nice light and non sparkley shadow all over the eye lid to the top of the brow bone..to deepen and define the eye, take a darker shadow and apply to the deep crease of the eyelid...blending as you go with a clean brush! A nice black or brown eye pencil along the lash line and softly blended in will finish the look..

applying foundation...

Hello my lovley makeup followers...keep up to date with my beauty tips...

when applying your foundation, you can use a brush or a sponge or your fingers..a brush is better as this will give an even coverage. using fingers will take it back off as the oils in your fingers will stop the foundation from being even in coverage! sometimes sponges can soak up too much so always go with the brush! MAC do fantastic brushes..always check your makeup in natural light! this will help you to see that it has bleneded in properly..always good to use underneath your foundation is a primer as this will keep it on all day and give your makeup a base...also it will even out your skin..good primers are MAC and Benefit!

Looking forward to another good shoot tommorow with rebecca torres and gordon burniston.....we have worked together before, rebecca is an amazing clothes designer and gordon is an amazing photographer. we have had fun working together in the past so tommorow should be lots of fun. Rebecca has a new collection out. Will follow soon with pictures. xx

I had a lovely time on friday in Glasgow at the Vivienne Westwood store in pricess square. I was there to help with the makeup for their 2nd birthday party. There was a dj, hair stylist and a wee team of makeup! There was good food, drinks and such a good atmosphere! I would gladly help at their next event!

I also have some new photos, i did the makeup on a shoot a while ago and i have the pictures to put up! It was for a lovely italian designers new clothes collection! Hope you like.xx

back to work!

Its been a while since i posted anything.....so i thought i would update a little! Things were a little quiet so i went on holiday, re charged my batteries and now i am back, feeling refreshed and ready to rock! I came home straight into two days with scottish slimmers which was amazing as i have worked with them before and always had such a great time. Its competition time for them now so it was all systems go and everyone was fantastic. I hope to be involved when its final time!

I also had the pleasure of working with Tom Gibson for the first time last week. He is an amazing photographer and the day was great and very enjoyable! We were working with a singer, janine, who was so lovely and the shoot was a pleasure to be on.

So all in all, things have started to pick up again and i am really pleased! onwards and up wards...hopefully have some photos soon.

So my website is now up and running and i am very pleased. The website was done by Gary Mcintyre and he has done a fantastic job.

Had a lovely time last night at my latest horror movie premiere...'Zombie Musical'
I had an amazing time working on set and everyone involved did a great job. Really pleased with the makeup and looking to the future and more work with the same crew...happy days!!

Website!

Reallt excited about my upcoming website. Should have it up by tonight or early tommorow. Things going really well at the moment. Looking at a possible Alice in Wonderland shoot in Edinburgh...very exciting.

Had a good day last week with photographer, Fiona Taylor again. We did some shots with Patricia from model team. Had a lovely and productive day. We had wind machines and balloons....it was much fun.

Have had a really productive couple of weeks since i came back from my film. Website is nearly ready and i am making more and more contacts.
I am looking forward to a very productive day on thursday with more photo shoots with the lovely Fiona Taylor. Got a lovely model so should be a successful day.

April 2nd - 8th Film Set

Just back from an amazing week on the set of a zombie musical. Had an amazing cast and crew to work with, some faces from a past film which made it even better. I had so much fun and i love being on a set, i have had a fantastic experience and feel very lucky to have been a part of it. Ryan, the director did a brilliant job and i am grateful to him for bringing me on board. Cant wait for the premiere.

Wed 31st March

Had a really good time today, i was up at one of our local schools to do makeup for their fashion show. All the girls were really excited and i got to see all the outfits and the runway which looked awesome. We did a smokey eye with glitter which was tons of fun. Was really nice to be a part of it and i got to see some old school teachers at the same time.
